Course Description:
Physics 2210 is an intensive course for students majoring in physical science and engineering.
Course Objectives:
After successfully completing this course, students will:
1. have a conceptual understanding of vectors, motion in one and two dimensions, Newton’s laws of motion, momentum, energy, work, gravity, rotational motion, oscillations, and thermodynamics.
2. be able to solve physical and mathematical problems relating to these subjects utilizing the mathematical concepts of algebra, trigonometry, and calculus.
Mastery of the course objectives will be evaluated by performance on homework assignments, and examinations.
